Update: If it is not too much to ask, I would appreciate it if at least someone gave me their thoughts on this as I need to know that I am making the best decision in terms of any audience I have left as well as in terms of myself.
This is a general announcement to those among my regular watchers with an interest in a) silly children's shows/books about trains with faces and/or b) blogging. I you are neither of those things, feel free to ignore this journal. If, however, you are one or both of the above, I'd appreciate it if you took the time to read over this.
I have made an executive decision to relocate my recently revived series of comics, Sudrian Railway INSANITY! to its own blog powered by Google Blogger. The plan is, hopefully, to create a dedicated website for these comics and other Thomas related fanmess. I will probably post some of it here, but I am planning in the relatively long term to take this account in a different, more professional direction (if that doesn't sound too silly coming from a hobbyist artist). As of today the blog is still under construction: I have created the first comic post and the general blog info page, but they are still in a draft state and not yet available to the public. In the meantime, I would like any tips you may be able to give on using Google Blogs, making the pages look better, image display, etc. As this is a way of displaying comics, the last one of the these is especially important. There is also, at least one of you will be aware, another issue that needs to be addressed, especially if I decide to promote the comic via the Sodor Island Forums.
I will probably still post the occasional TTTE piece here, and I have no intention of trying to distance my dA identity from the one on my blog. I know that many people will judge me for this fandom, and I can see why, but it is part of who I am. I am proud to be an adult who is still able to embrace things I loved in childhood in what I at least hope is a mature and responsible way. I do not mean to boast, but this is certainly my aim, and if do I achieve it I will perhaps be able to begin changing at least a few peoples' perceptions of the fandom as a whole.
My main concern is that a blog may be a little harder to find than a dA account. I hope I don't once agai sound egotistical when I say this, but in that event I would appreciate people like you to help promote it. Do not feel obliged, however - none of this is an order. I am merely asking for our advice in this time of transition, and it's totally fine if you have none to give.
In the meantime, enjoy the good sides of this site!

Alternate Account for Geekery
As I would like to dissociate my more 'serious' work with embarrassing fandoms, I have made a new account dedicated to them where I can be as stupid and as geeky as I want. If you are watching me for trains with faces, etc, you should probably be watching this new one...
In other news, this means that the SRI! comics are now available on dA again. :)

#dinovember is kind of behind...
...Because my student life has been pretty hectic this month. Lordy, I never seem to get any of my projects finished. I'm sorry. :/ I am currently about to begin #6, so I'm more or less five days behind as I write. I will try and finish up thirty-one dinosaur portraits, but they certainly aren't happening daily and they may well overrun into Dinocember!
Anyway, I will continue to upload whatever I have managed every weekend. So far I have a Baryonyx done for the coming batch, which I'll hopefully get up (much) later today, although I may be too tired to do anything as complicated as scanning a picture by then! I also have something simple pl
Welcome to #dinovember!
Over the past week or so, I have noticed two things about this profile: One, my gallery has been looking rather empty lately, and two, I haven't done anything dinosaur related in a while, mostly because my attention has been taken up either by work or by other interests. Well, now is the time to remedy that! In spite of a huge amount of university work, I have decided to celebrate this very special month of #dinovember by drawing a dinosaur for every day (I was originally going to do something more traditional and take pictures of what my figure collection gets up to, but I'm not really in a good position to set up any good scenarios at the m
Tyto's Terrifying Halloween
I hope you're all sitting comfortably children, because I have a spooky story for you...
"Wooooooo! Tyto, Tyyyy-toooooooo!"
"Huh? Who is that?!"
"This is your conscience, Tytooooooooo."
"Oh, you again. What have I forgotten to do this time?"
"Oh. Well, uh - nothing important, but weren't you going to draw something creepy for Halloween. I thought it was your favourite holiday and stuff?"
"Um - yeah, well actually I was."
"Oh, aren't you going to anymore?"
"I really wanted to, but first I was flat out busy with University assignments, and when I'd finished those I was fat-out exhausted! I actually started doing a thing, but I messed up
